At the heart of VERTIGO, Grenache Noir blended with Carignan for the red, and Grenache Blanc with Maccabeu for the white, deliver precise wines bursting with fruit and freshness. VERTIGO embodies an immediate, vibrant expression of fruit, carried by the energy of young vines and the singular character of schist terroirs. CALCOSCHISTE TERROIR
The VERTIGO cuvées are rooted in vineyards farmed 100% biodynamically, on the schist and calcareous-schist slopes typical of Mas Amiel and its surrounding lieux-dits.
These light, poor, well-drained soils, compel the vine to draw its energy deep below the surface, encouraging the purest expression of fruit and terroir. Biodynamics supports this natural process by strengthening the living balance of soil and vine.



FOOD AND WINE PAIRINGS

Scallops & VERTIGO WHITE
The delicate flavor of scallops finds a perfect echo in the freshness and tension of Vertigo Blanc. Its notes of white-fleshed fruit and its vivacity highlight the finesse of the shellfish without masking its subtlety.

Beef Tataki & VERTIGO RED
The delicate flavor of the beef tataki complements the dynamism and structure of Vertigo Rouge. Its notes of dark fruit and supple texture highlight the tenderness of the meat without compromising its subtlety.

The integrity of the grape, the precision of the gesture
HARVEST AND WINEMAKING
Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand. The grapes are then fully destemmed. Each parcel is vinified separately with native yeasts and no added sulfites, terroir by terroir, allowing each site to express its own character and fresh, vibrant juice.
VERTIGO WHITE: The bunches are sorted on a selection table, then gently direct pressed. The must is settled overnight at 10°C without any oenological additives, then fermented with native yeasts in 20 hl stainless-steel tanks at 16–18°C.
VERTIGO RED: Ultra-gentle vinification in 84 hl concrete tanks with very light daily pump-overs to assist the fermenting grapes.
